The serene grounds are impeccably maintained and Rick's wife, Marylu, with her green thumb, keeps the flower beds and potted plants beautiful in each season. MEET THE OWNERS

Valencia Family web.jpg

JESUS & VICTORIA VALENCIA

Jesus and Victoria Valencia, along with their daughters Isabella and Emilia, are from Homestead, FL. There they run a successful landscaping and design business that Jesus began when he was 22 years old. Always lovers of the outdoors, both Jesus and Victoria have loved to vacation in the Smoky Mountains throughout the years. They started out exploring the Smokies via Harley Davidson motorcycle, but later found that it could be even more fun to do as a family in their 5th Wheel RV. While vacationing in November of 2020, they happened upon the quaint little town of Franklin, NC and fell in love with the area. Since then, they have acquired a little cabin that is offered on VRBO for other travelers to enjoy when the Valencias are back home in Florida. When the Franklin RV Park and Campground came up for sale in 2021, they knew it would be a great opportunity. Though new to campground ownership, Jesus and Victoria are confident that their emphasis on quality and consumer satisfaction will create an environment where travelers can feel welcomed and respected.

ROBERT & TRACEY MOEHLING

Robert and Tracey Moehling are Victoria’s parents and are also from Homestead, FL. You may have heard about a world famous fruit stand located near the entrance to Everglades National Park called Robert Is Here Fruit Stand and Farm. The is the Robert. He started out as a 6 year old boy on the side of the road with some vegetables and a hand written sign, and 62 years later he is still there; Same spot, slightly larger sign. In 1980, Tracey stopped in for a head of lettuce and a couple tomatoes and left with a date. Since then, they have raised four children and are now enjoying the benefits of being grandparents. While Robert still puts in roughly 86 work hours per week, he and Tracey look forward to their occasional getaways to Franklin, NC. Siblings Brandon, Robert, and Savannah keep the fruit stand running while the
big man is away. The partnership with daughter, Victoria, was a no-brainer for the Moehlings. Robert had always wanted to build an RV park in Homestead, but the opportunity never presented itself. He and Tracey know what it takes to create a lasting empire. Their business philosophy is built upon three pillars: Honesty, Integrity, and Hard Work. With those principles, Franklin RV Park and Campground is sure to be a success.
